This is an amazing time of year because it reminds all of us what matters most. To me, that’s family, friends, community and trying to make a positive impact where we can.

Learn how we're helping!

This isn't just any raffle. When you enter to win our imported Japanese Kei truck, 100% of your entry goes directly to helping kids in our community get the school supplies, clothes, and confidence they need for a successful school year.

Last Christmas, together we made magic happen for dozens of families. Now, as summer ends and school bells prepare to ring, we're doing it again. Because every child deserves to walk into their classroom feeling prepared, proud, and ready to learn.

Your $10 entry could change a child's entire school year. And yes, you might just win the most charming truck you've ever seen.

How We Do It

Three Simple Steps to Make a Difference

Choose Your Impact

Select your entry level – from $10 (1 entry) to $250+ (40 entries). Remember, every dollar goes directly to helping kids, so choose what feels right for your heart and your budget.

Enter & Share

Complete your entry in under 60 seconds. Then share with friends and family who care about kids in our community. The more people who participate, the more kids we can help.

Celebrate Together

On August 15th, we'll draw the winner live on social media. But honestly? We're all winners when kids get the support they need to thrive.

Remember your first day of school?

Picture this: It's the night before school starts. While some kids are excitedly laying out their new backpacks, fresh notebooks, and carefully chosen first-day outfits, others are quietly worrying.

Worrying about whether their worn-out shoes will make it through another year. Whether they'll have the supplies their teacher asks for. Whether they'll fit in when they don't have what everyone else has.

That's where Soles and Shields steps in. That's where YOU step in.

This year, we want to create that feeling for even more kids. With your help, we can turn back-to-school anxiety into back-to-school excitement for dozens of children in our community.

Being able to give back to the community we interact with daily was awesome.

Where Every Single Dollar Goes

100% of proceeds go directly to kids in need. Not 90%. Not 95%. Every single penny. The truck? It's donated. The website? Volunteer-built. The time? Given freely by people who believe every child deserves a great start to their school year.

We partner with the Idaho Falls Police Department to identify families who could use support. These aren't handouts – they're hand-ups. We're talking about kids whose parents work multiple jobs but still struggle to afford the basics. Kids who are bright, eager, and deserving of every opportunity to succeed.

Last Christmas, we raised enough to help 47 families. This time, we're aiming even higher. Because when school starts, every child in our community should feel ready to learn, grow, and dream big.

Your $10 entry might buy:

•A new pair of shoes for a kindergartner taking their first steps into education

•A calculator for a high schooler diving into advanced math

•A warm jacket for a middle schooler facing their first Idaho winter

A Proven Track Record of Caring

Soles and Shields isn't new to this work. We're a soon to be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a simple mission: ensuring every child has what they need to succeed. Our Christmas campaign last year proved that when a community comes together, incredible things happen.

We work hand-in-hand with the Idaho Falls Police Department, who help us identify families who would benefit most from support. This isn't about charity – it's about community. It's about neighbors helping neighbors. It's about ensuring that a child's potential is never limited by their family's financial circumstances.

Every family we help is treated with dignity and respect. Every child receives their items with love and encouragement. And every donor becomes part of a story that extends far beyond a single school year.

School Starts Soon – Kids Are Counting on Us

The calendar doesn't wait. In just a few weeks, school bells will ring across our community. Some kids will bound through those doors with everything they need. Others will hesitate, worried about fitting in, about having enough, about being ready.

You have the power to change that story. Right now. Today.

For the price of a lunch out, you can ensure a child walks into their classroom with confidence. For the cost of a tank of gas, you can provide a family with the back-to-school supplies that transform anxiety into excitement.

And yes, you might just win the most charming truck in Idaho while you're at it.

But win or lose, you'll know you've given a child something priceless: the feeling that their community cares about their success.

The deadline is August 12th. Kids are counting on us. Will you be part of their story?
